A leading company in Ottawa is seeking a Senior Manager Business HR to oversee HR services for over 800 employees. The role involves strategic HR support, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
This position works out of our Ottawa manufacturing site, in the Abbott Point of Care (APOC) division reporting to the Canada Human Resources Director. As the Senior Manager Business HR, you’ll have the chance to lead and manage the delivery of HR services across the Abbott Point of Care (Ottawa) site.
This role provides strategic business human resources support for the Ottawa site, supporting over 800 employees. The incumbent ensures that a healthy work environment is maintained, that all labour laws and regulations are respected as well as being responsible for an effective succession planning and personal development that allows growth within the organization.
The Senior Manager Business HR works closely with the site leadership team and HR colleagues to achieve the division’s objectives and fostering optimal working conditions that position Abbott as an employer of choice.
