Job summary

Ainley Group is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer based in Belleville, Ontario, with flexible remote work options. You will oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of MTO highway projects, conducting site inspections, analyzing data, and preparing reports to ensure on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with a P.Eng. in Ontario, at least 5 years in MTO highway engineering, and strong leadership and communication abilities to manage multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field.
• P.Eng. designation in Ontario.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MTO highway engineering.
• Qualifications to meet Key Personnel requirements for all Highway Engineering Specialties listed under RAQs.
• Strong knowledge of OPS and MTO design standards.

Role Description

This is a full-time Senior Highway Engineer role based in Belleville, ON, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Senior Highway Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design, construction, and maintenance of MTO highway infrastructure projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting site inspections, analyzing data, preparing reports, overseeing project budgets and timelines, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of MTO projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MTO highway engineering
• Qualifications to meet Key Personnell requirements for all Highway Engineering Specialties listed under RAQs
• Strong knowledge of relevant OPS and MTO desing standards.
• Experience in managing and leading multidisciplinary project teams
• Proficiency in MTO highway design software and other related tools
