Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
• Experience delivering preliminary and detailed roadway design and tender documentation (CPS).

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway and highway designs, including alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and grading.
• Prepare and review calculations, reports, cost estimates, quantities, and contract docs (CPS).
• Collaborate across the CADD team to develop drawings and models.
• Ensure designs meet MTO standards, TAC guidelines, OPSS/OPSD requirements and client needs.
• Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and QA/QC processes.
• Coordinate with drainage, traffic, utilities, structures for integrated designs.
• Support project delivery through planning, preliminary and detailed design and tender prep.
• Develop design criteria reports (DCR) and other technical deliverables.
• Identify design risks and coordinate resolutions with teams, subconsultants, clients.
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
