Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors is a private tutoring company offering in-home and online support, serving learners from age four through young adulthood. We seek part-time tutors who can deliver Ontario curriculum-aligned academic support and provide supplemental assignments to reinforce understanding.

Tutors will offer remedial and enrichment sessions, maintain strong communication with parents/guardians, and schedule sessions flexibly within a supportive team environment in Durham Region.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching or tutoring.
• Strong communication and relationship-building.
• Ability to travel to students' homes in Durham Region.
• Ability to teach English up to grade 12.

Who We’re Looking For
Qualified applicants will meet at least one of the following:

• Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
• Current teacher candidates actively pursuing a Bachelor of Education.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
