Job Opportunity: Senior High Math and Science Teacher

Location: St. Thomas More School, Fairview, Alberta

Position: Teacher for the 2025-2026 School Year

St. Thomas More is recruiting a Senior High Math and Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a probationary position with the possibility of a permanent contract based on performance. The course load includes secondary Math & Science for grades 9-12.

The successful candidate will teach various math and science courses, creating a quality learning environment for students across the province. Courses may include senior high academic Math and Science and other courses depending on enrollment and skill set.

Ideal candidates will have training, knowledge, and experience in secondary education, proficiency in educational technology, experience with distance education, assessment for learning, inclusive education, and familiarity with Indigenous students. Eligibility to teach in Alberta is required. Experience with PowerSchool is an asset.

Preference will be given to candidates of the Catholic faith.

Applications are accepted until April 30, 2025, at 4:00 PM or until a suitable candidate is found.
