Job description

Position Overview:

The Senior Head Golf Professional will lead all aspects of the daily golf operations at one or more of the club’s premier courses while providing leadership support across all golf operations. This position requires a dynamic, service-oriented leader with a passion for the game of golf, a commitment to excellence, and a proven track record of managing high-performance golf operations within a private club environment. This role is HIGHLY focused on Member Engagement, actively being Member facing and looking for opportunities to engage and provide service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversees all golf services and operations with a high focus on Member Engagement & Service
2. Mentors and leads a team of Assistant Golf Professionals and Front-Line Professionals
3. Actively involved in the organization and execution of Club Golf Events and Non-Club Events, including the annual Korn Ferry Tour’s Club Car Championship.
4. Develops, in coordination with the Director of Golf Operations, the annual operating budget and business plan.
5. Coordinates with the Golf Retail Director to maintain and oversee an innovative and successful merchandise concession that aligns with membership needs and desires.
6. Plays golf regularly with members on property and travels with members to golf events.
