Job summary

WilsonHCG is seeking a Senior Hardware Application Design professional in Toronto, ON, operating in a hybrid setup. The role supports the SID Hardware team with hardware application design drafting, technical documentation, and infrastructure-related engineering activities for complex transportation systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong electrical knowledge, CAD tool proficiency (MicroStation, AutoCAD), and a track record in documenting systems and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in electrical/electronics engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of hardware application design or electrical drafting experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and systems; CAD drafting principles.

Responsibilities

• Support development and modification of hardware application designs and documentation.
• Document system requirements and select design approaches for hardware applications.
• Prepare and maintain hardware CAD drawings for electrical and some mechanical designs.
• Ensure accuracy of BOMs and documentation; support field testing and installation activities.
• Contribute to design workflows and standardization efforts.
