We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Senior Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while also mentoring junior stylists and contributing to a positive salon environment. We have a Senior Stylist leaving on maternity leave shortly and require a highly motivated and skilled stylist to help take care of our guests in her leave.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon, ensuring all tools and workstations are properly sanitized.
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication, ensuring they feel valued and understood.
• Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and contribute to salon revenue.
• Assist with front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
• Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge, techniques, and best practices to foster their professional growth.
• Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with informed recommendations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a minimum of 10+ years and a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in hair cutting, coloring, and styling.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices in accordance with industry standards.
• Experience in upselling products or services is preferred.
• Retail sales experience is a plus, as it contributes to overall salon success.
