Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Hands-on experience developing software integrations, connectors, or drivers for PLCs and industrial control systems, with knowledge of industrial protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET)
- Strong proficiency in Golang
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, real-time communication, and industrial automation environments
- Strong communication skills and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams
- Nice to have: Experience with C++, MQTT, REST, SOAP
Responsibilities
- Develop Golang-based southbound connectors for PLCs and industrial control systems using OPC-UA, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, DNP3
- Implement robust error handling and fault-tolerance in OT environments
- Troubleshoot and optimize connector performance and reliability across diverse OT setups
- Design and implement testing, diagnostics, logging, and monitoring for communication issues
- Collaborate with Product Managers, OT/Controls Engineers, and software engineers to deliver integration solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and share expertise with the developer community
