Job Description
- Workload Management
- Take ownership of engagement(s) assigned to you
- Show excellent time management by understanding how to prioritize daily work
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information
- Communicate effectively with team members, keep team updated on engagement status, contribute to team meetings, etc.
- Understand how online and case management tools support engagement coordination
- Notify Global Manager of potential escalations
- Operational Efficiency
- Understand and utilize standardized team, firm, and EY processes
- Proactively manage client projects and seek opportunities to expand Scope of Services (SOS)
- Understand your role within People Advisory Services (PAS) and integrated service offerings
- Accurately describe EY capabilities and commitments when discussing business opportunities
- Understand and articulate client’s program objectives
- Ensure correct case intake processes are followed per engagement SOS
- Identify and address case-related issues promptly with the Global Manager and set follow-up reminders
- Follow escalation and resolution protocols
- Follow extension protocols
- Keep updated on EY local country contacts and escalation points
- Follow up with EY local offices for updates via BIT, email, etc.
- Teaming
- Support team and client meetings by preparing agendas and presentation materials
- Be well-prepared and actively contribute to meetings
- If virtual, be prepared to be on-camera
- Inform your team of upcoming absences and assist with vacation coverage by maintaining up-to-date case status lists
- Build relationships with key EY local country contacts for escalation or case status requests
- Communication
- Keep Global Managers and Senior Managers informed of client-related issues
- Communicate mistakes openly
- Implement healthy Outlook management, adhere to SLAs for response times
- Understand client communication preferences and culture
- Implement risk management procedures, including EY Send Protect, delay send, password protecting attachments
- Organize inbox with folders, archive old emails and attachments, use filters and rules
- Leverage extension teams, EY local offices, and enablement crews effectively
- Raise EY local country alerts to Managers and Senior Managers as needed
- Billing and Finance
- Understand billing procedures and best practices
- Ensure timely completion of billing-related case steps and escalate delays
- Review Invoice Request Forms (IRFs) and Global Billing Templates (GBTs)
- Understand Scope of Services in relation to billing and out-of-scope request authorization
- Quality & Reporting
- Use Business Intelligence Reporting for insights and sharing with clients
- Manage multiple projects and high-volume engagements efficiently
- Comply with EY policies, including Quality and Risk Management (Q&RM) and team protocols
- Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and administrative accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Build and maintain relationships with team, wider EY network, and clients
- Present information clearly and in an organized manner
- Show initiative in identifying issues and proposing creative solutions
