We are transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice.

Summary

We are currently seeking a Senior Global Benefits Specialist to join our Total Rewards team! If you are passionate about designing and scaling people-centric benefit programs that empower our Clions to do their best work, and you thrive in a builder environment of rapid growth and continuous change, then this is the place for you. In this role, you will be a key partner in evolving the global benefits infrastructure that supports Clio's mission to transform the legal experience for all. You will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of our health, wellness, and retirement programs across North America, Europe, LATAM, and beyond, translating global strategy into meaningful experiences that help our people thrive wherever Clio needs them.

What Your Team Does

The Total Rewards team is responsible for designing and building the competitive, scalable reward programs that enable Clio's human and high-performing culture. As part of the Total Rewards Team, the benefits team's goal is to standardize and enhance our global programs, ensuring our benefits are scalable and impactful. Through close partnerships across the business and deep market insights, we translate global strategy into meaningful benefit experiences that support Clio's long-term goals and help our people thrive. • Develop a global engagement strategy and communications framework to increase benefit literacy and ensure Clions understand the full value of their rewards.
  • Ensure global compliance and risk management, keeping programs aligned with local laws and reporting requirements, such as US ACA and collective agreements.
  • Support the day-to-day administration of Clio's global benefit programs, including health (medical, dental, vision), retirement (401k/RRSP), life, disability, and wellness initiatives. Act as the senior escalation point for complex member inquiries or claims issues, providing a high-touch experience for Clions while mentoring more junior specialists on how to navigate these cases.
  • Partner with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate benefit deductions, taxable benefit reporting, and fringe benefit compliance across all regions. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with local legislation.
  • Support the management of external partnerships, including benefits brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators, by coordinating on administrative issues, monitoring service levels, and staying informed on program updates or legislative changes.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to a growing team of Specialists, serving as a senior technical resource.
What You May Have
  • 5+ years experience with global benefits, focusing on US, Europe, and LATAM
  • CEBS or GBA designation is considered an asset.
  • Thorough working knowledge of regulatory requirements in the Canada, US, and international markets, including COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ERISA, etc. There is a strong preference for candidates with US experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Workday Benefits administration with the ability to optimize workflows and resolve process-related issues.
  • Growth mindset when it comes to process improvement and new technologies, especially AI.
