The Senior Geotechnical Engineer role provides an opportunity to lead and contribute to a diverse range of geotechnical projects within a multidisciplinary project team environment. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise, project management experience, and a collaborative approach to support the continued growth of the geotechnical team through technical excellence, effective project delivery, successful proposal development, and mentorship of junior staff.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of engineering (such as Civil, Geotechnical, Geological, orMining Engineering, or Engineering Geology) from a recognized university
Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related services
Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in good standing with Engineers Nova Scotia, or eligible for registration if transferring from another province
Valid Canadian driver’s license with access to a vehicle
Ability to live and work in Canada
Residing in Nova Scotia, or willing to relocate
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Transparency:In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
