Job summary

EllisDon Corporation seeks a Sr. Specialist, Geospatial and Reality Capture in Mississauga, ON. You will lead survey control, coordinate systems, and georeferencing for reality capture projects on active construction sites.

You will operate drone and TLS/mobile mapping systems, manage geodatabases, and deliver GIS outputs and dashboards. Strong BIM-GIS integration and QA expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Geomatics or related field.
• 3-6 years of field geomatics or survey experience.
• Competence with GNSS RTK and network RTK, total station, control networks.
• Fluent understanding of coordinate systems, datums, projections, and geoid models.
• Transport Canada RPAS pilot certificate for Advanced Operations desired.
• Proficiency in photogrammetric processing and ground control practices.

Responsibilities

• Establish, validate, and document survey control for reality capture engagements.
• Plan and execute drone capture and field data collection on sites.
• Build and maintain geodatabases and GIS deliverables.
• Develop BIM-to-GIS integration and automate QA tasks.
• Provide technical input to proposals and act as geospatial lead.
