Job summary

ERM is seeking a seasoned Principal Technical Consultant, Geologist (Casual) to lead complex resource estimation projects across primary deposits and tailings facilities. You will guide technical decisions, mentor staff, and contribute to ERM's mining practice while collaborating with global teams.

The role requires a geologist with 6+ years' mining experience, international reporting standards proficiency, and the ability to travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or equivalent.
• Professional Geologist designation in at least one Canadian province.
• 6+ years of geological and mining experience.
• Experience with CIM, JORC, NI 43-101, SK1300 reporting standards.
• Tailings resource estimation and modelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Validate geological data and QA/QC procedures.
• Develop 3D geological models and geostatistical analyses.
• Prepare Mineral Resource estimation reports aligned with CIM, JORC, NI 43-101 and SK1300.
• Undertake tailings resource characterisation and estimation.
• Mentor technical teams across Canada and engage with clients.
