Job summary

ERM is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant, Geochemistry to lead major projects from Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto. You will mentor multidisciplinary teams, advance water management, environmental assessment, and permitting, and strengthen client relationships for Canada’s mining and resource sectors.

You will develop geochemical models, drive integrated approaches, and contribute to ERM's growth across Canada and globally with a focus on technical excellence and integrity.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Geochemistry or related field; registered professional in a Canadian jurisdiction.
• 6+ years consulting experience in geochemistry, water resource management, impact assessment, and permitting.
• Demonstrated leadership in geochemical characterization studies and ML/ARD management.
• Strong understanding of environmental assessment and permitting within mining.

Responsibilities

• Lead geochemical characterization studies and ML/ARD programs for major projects.
• Mentor multidisciplinary teams and review senior technical deliverables.
• Develop mass balance and geochemical models delivering client value.
• Collaborate across hydrology, hydrogeology, geochemistry, and toxicology teams.
