Job summary

Trinity Consultants Canada Water & Ecology seeks a Senior Geochemist / Senior Hydrogeoscientist to lead geochemical and hydrogeological projects across Canada, primarily in the mining sector. You will guide project managers, provide senior technical insight, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will communicate complex findings clearly to clients, regulators, and team members, delivering high-quality reports and ensuring ethical, evidence-based decision

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• PGeo., PEng., or eligible.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in aqueous geochemistry, ARD/ML, water quality, and monitoring.
• Experience with geochemical modelling tools is a plus.
• Strong reporting, client service, and senior oversight abilities.
• Experience in mining sector is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support geochemical/hydrogeochemical projects in the mining sector across Canada.
• Direct project managers across baseline studies, permitting, operations, and monitoring.
• Provide senior technical leadership and external support.
• Mentor junior staff and develop technical skills.
• Contribute to large multi-disciplinary projects with senior staff.
• Represent the team in the scientific community via deliverables and conferences.
