Job summary

The Apex Group is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to support fund administration and middle office activities in a hybrid Toronto environment. You will handle asset setup, reconciliation, corporate actions, and trade entries while coordinating with brokers and clients.

Ideal candidates hold a accounting/finance degree with optional CPA/MBA, and have experience with private equity funds and fund administration. The role offers growth, a collaborative team, and a structured hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• CPA/MBA/Master’s Degree is an advantage.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Experience with incentive fees, waterfall distributions, allocations, financial statements and/or closes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate administrative duties including asset setup and maintenance; reconciliation with brokers/custodians; process notices and corporate actions; enter and settle trades as required.
• Prepare and assist with internal reports; ensure timely reporting to internal teams.
• Develop relationships with clients and coordinate with internal teams to meet targets and deliver high service levels.
• Support Middle Office Manager with task delegation, training, and onboarding for new joiners.
