Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with mutual funds or investment accounting, preferably in hedge funds.
• 2-3 years of fund accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile cash and holdings across systems.
• Handle investment accounting, trade entry, and data maintenance.
• Calculate NAV, including income and expenses.
• Process investor transactions.
• Upload and analyze price data, utilizing Bloomberg terminals.
• Generate client reports.
• Prepare financial statements and support audits.
• Manage client and counterparty relationships.
• Assist with client onboarding and special projects.
• Participate in system testing and releases.

Skills

Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience with mutual funds or investment accounting

2-3 years of fund accounting experience

Understanding of various investment products

Advanced Excel skills

Experience with financial statements
