We’re looking for a proactive Senior Functional Consultant to join our Copperleaf IFS team as we continue to enable clients to build resilient and sustainable infrastructure.

This hands-on role involves working directly with customers; consultancy experience in asset management, analytics, or software development and implementation is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key client interface for large and complex implementations, understanding and articulating requirements, and leveraging internal teams to implement innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers and partners across the UK at client sites.
  • Manage the end-to-end process with clients, including scoping, system customization, integration, and user training.
  • Travel approximately 25-40% of your time to work with clients across the UK region.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of consulting experience in relevant areas.
  • Strong customer-facing consulting skills—ability to influence, advise, mediate, and scope projects.
  • Experience leading internal and external teams to achieve project milestones over 3 months to a year.
  • Knowledge of software deployment technologies, networks, and databases.
  • Understanding of business processes paired with technical skills.
  • Numerate with analytical skills and knowledge of operational research techniques such as simulation, optimization, failure rate modeling, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Technical degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Enjoys consulting—travel, working in different cities, engaging with large organizations, and responding to diverse challenges.
  • Experience working with large industrial organizations in utilities, O&G, transport, or rail sectors.
