Manulife is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer proficient in NodeJS, NestJS, ReactJS, NextJS, and cloud tools.

Position Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an end-to-end application stack, including frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure for the application.

• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of new features and systems.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency with industry norms.

• Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs with multi-functional teams and segments.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Required Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience working in full stack software development. enterprise environment

• Proficient in NodeJS (knowledge of NestJS Framework).

• Strong experience with the React framework (NextJS Framework).

• Proficient in writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terraform Workspaces).

• Experience with RESTful API design and development.

• Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modelling.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Azure, and containerization tools (Docker and Kubernetes).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

• Proficiency with version control systems (Git)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a team of Full Stack Software Engineers.

Salary range is expected to be between

$94,220.00 CAD - $174,980.00 CAD
