Job summary

Abbeal SAS seeks a Senior Full Stack Java/React Developer for a Payments Transformation project with a major bank in Montreal. You will develop Java microservices (Spring Boot), build high‑quality React interfaces, and integrate JMS/IBM MQ/Kafka messaging on an AWS cloud foundation.

The role is hybrid in Montreal, with a 12‑month renewable mandate and French required, English an asset. Based in Montreal, the team works on a payments transformation platform with cloud security and encryption

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full‑stack Java/React experience.
• Spring Boot microservices experience.
• Experience with JMS/IBM MQ/Kafka messaging.
• Cloud experience on AWS.
• French language required, English an asset.

Senior Full Stack Java / React Developer — Payments Transformation, Bank, Montreal

Java + React on a banking payments platform: Spring Boot microservices, JMS/IBM MQ/Kafka integrations, AWS Cloud. Hybrid, Montreal.

Within a major Canadian bank, you join a team dedicated to commercial transformation and payments. You build Java microservices (Spring Boot) and React interfaces, with JMS/IBM MQ/Kafka integrations and an AWS Cloud foundation (KMS, SSO, encryption).

Stack and practices

• Java + React (must-have)
• JMS, IBM MQ, Kafka integrations
• Nice-to-have: JIRA/Confluence, automated testing (Robot, ReadyAPI, Postman), AWS EKS/Kubernetes/IaC, AI-assisted delivery
