Job summary

Techso, founded in Montreal, seeks a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to drive architectural decisions and deliver digital solutions for clients in Montreal and beyond.

You will mentor developers, shape development practices, and contribute to pre-sales efforts while collaborating with Agile Scrum teams. This role blends backend Java with frontend frameworks in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least six years of experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in object-oriented Java development and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience in front-end development using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and tools such as Hibernate.
• A good understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration and deployment environments.
• Experience working in an Agile and collaborative environment.
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
• The ability to communicate professionally in both French and English, as you will collaborate with colleagues and clients located in Quebec, across Canada, and internationally.
• Strong teamwork skills, autonomy, and a genuine desire to actively contribute to the solutions delivered.

The Profile We're Looking For

You have:

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure DevOps;
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases;
• Experience with ETL processes;
• Knowledge of other technologies such as Node.js, Python, C#, PHP, or other complementary programming languages;
• Experience in solution architecture, mentoring, or technical pre-sales.
