The Opportunity

We are supporting one of our clients in the financial services sector in hiring an Fullstack Developer based in Montreal.

This role, offering the opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of modern web applications in a collaborative Agile environment.

What You'll Do

• Develop, modify, test, and debug software programs in accordance with established timelines and standards
• Build and support web applications using Angular and Java-based services in Agile mode
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and software components
• Design and model solutions for complex problems, ensuring alignment with functional and non-functional requirements
• Review deliverables to ensure code and design quality standards are met
• Support and mentor team members to deliver high-quality code within project deadlines
• Write unit and integration tests and contribute to regression testing strategies
• Participate in developing and enhancing system functionalities to meet evolving user needs
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm technical solutions and develop prototypes when necessary
• Interact regularly with stakeholders and colleagues across Canada

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5-8+ years of experience in software development (intermediate level)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Detail-oriented with strong teamwork and communication skills
• Bilingual in French and English (required)

Core Skills Required

• Advanced experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Solid expertise in the Angular framework
• Experience with Git (version control)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or OpenShift
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum / SAFe environments with a DevOps mindset
