Vosker is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to strengthen the development team in Montreal, offering hybrid work and international remote options. You will influence architecture, mentor developers, and own core features across the web application, from APIs to frontend interfaces.

You will design robust systems, implement tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold quality standards while collaborating with analysts, product owners, and designers.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or another relevant field of study, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development, including demonstrated experience mentoring or supporting developers.
• Strong back-end development experience with Node.js and/or Go.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and caching systems (Redis).
• Experience in system design: application architecture, APIs, data management, performance, and the BFF (backend-for-frontend) model.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written. Frequent interactions outside Quebec.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, tested, and reliable code on both the front end and back end.
• Design and evolve APIs and services.
• Participate in architectural decisions and propose technical solutions tailored to business needs.
• Prepare detailed test plans and write automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
• Diagnose and resolve complex performance, security, and reliability issues in production.
• Evaluate new technologies and development tools and make recommendations.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Lead or participate in design workshops, estimation sessions, and deployment activities.
