Job summary

Farm Credit Canada is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for the Loan Application Workflow to design, build, test and support full stack features that power the loan journey. You’ll work closely with developers, analysts, architects and business partners to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

You’ll contribute across the codebase, translate business needs into technical designs and mentor teammates within a geographically dispersed Agile team, ensuring high-quality delivery and robust

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, business or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in application development, software engineering or full stack development.
• Extensive knowledge of full stack development practices and coding best practices.
• Solid knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular.
• Proven expertise developing back-end services and integrations using Java, Spring Boot and SQL.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and business partners.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support full stack application features for the loan application workflow domain.
• Build and enhance responsive front-end solutions using HTML5, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular.
• Develop and integrate back-end services, APIs and data solutions using Java, Spring Boot and SQL.
• Apply a holistic technical lens to understand how solutions fit across applications and integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes and propose practical, maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment and provide informal leadership to support team delivery.
