Job summary

Felix, Toronto-based, is seeking Intermediate and Senior Software Engineers to join our full-stack team. You will own back-end and front-end development using PHP/Laravel, JavaScript and Vue.js to power our digital healthcare ecosystem and patient experiences.

You will collaborate with product and design, scale our platform as we enter new markets, mentor peers, and help raise the bar for reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, building scalable web applications.
• Experience with PHP/Laravel, JavaScript and Vue.js.
• Ability to lead development teams and unblock blockers.
• Strong communication with Product and cross-functional teams.
• Comfort with ambiguity and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Build back-end and front-end systems with architectural patterns and designs.
• Write code to scale as we launch new products and enter new markets.
• Improve platform reliability through testing, observability, and monitoring.
• Manage flow of communication across the stack to maximize efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members.
