Job summary

CIeNET Canada in Markham, Ontario is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to design, develop, and enhance a suite of enterprise web applications. You will collaborate with client stakeholders, product owners and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality software.

You will own features end-to-end using Java/Kotlin, React, REST APIs, Spring Boot, and containerized deployments with Docker/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of professional software development building enterprise web apps.
• Strong proficiency in Java; Kotlin preferred.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React/TS/Angular/Vue).
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and database-driven apps.
• Understand software architecture, systems integration, and lifecycle.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web apps (frontend, backend, APIs, databases).
• Partner with stakeholders and product owners to clarify requirements.
• Drive technical discussions with dev, QA, and DevOps to resolve issues.
• Modernize apps while maintaining legacy systems where appropriate.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability and performance.
• Participate in design reviews, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
• Continuously improve engineering practices and development efficiency.
• Take ownership of features end-to-end from design to production.
