Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced full-stack developer in Canada, Ontario, Toronto. The role requires 6–8+ years in Angular, Node.js, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and related technologies.

You will work on backend Java with Spring, REST/SOAP, Microservices, and ORM with Hibernate, alongside CI/CD and DevOps practices using GitHub and Jenkins, and databases like SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, DB2. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8+ years of experience in full-stack development (Angular, Node.js, Java/Spring, REST APIs).
• Strong backend Java experience with Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST, SOAP, and microservices.
• ORM experience with Hibernate.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of PCF and databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, DB2).
• Experience with application servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, JBOSS) and IDEs (RAD, IntelliJ, STS).
• Experience across the complete application development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications across frontend and backend.
• Design RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Utilize Hibernate ORM for data access.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and manage GitHub repositories.
• Work with databases including SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, DB2.
• Configure and deploy on application servers like WebSphere, Tomcat, JBOSS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Job description

6 to 8+ experience in developing application using both Front end and Back end like Angular, Node Js, Core Java, Spring, Spring boot, REST API etc.

6 to 8+ years of experience in Java back end technologies like Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST API, SOAP, Microservices, jUnit

Experience in ORM tool like Hibernate

Good understanding of SCM systems like GITHUB and DevOps tools like Jenkins.

Experience or sound knowledge in PCF, OCP

Working knowledge on Database like SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, DB2

Experience in IDE like RAD, IntelliJ, STS with webservers/Application Servers like WebSphere, Tomcat, Apache, JBOSS etc.

Experience across the complete application development cycle

Excellent Communication, inter-personal skills.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $29.59/hour - $46.23/hour. Our offered benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
