Global Security Settlements Team Profile

Our platform provides a critical function enabling the firm to effect security settlements across all markets where the firm operates. Role

We seek a Senior Developer with experience in Cloud Architectures & Public Cloud offerings to help build a resilient, scalable, and secure cloud-based settlement platform. Responsibilities include participating in requirements refinement, architecture, design, implementation—writing code and automated tests—and creating CI/CD pipelines following best practices. In our agile environment, you will interact directly with users, product owners, business analysts, and technologists across the firm. Experience in building large-scale distributed applications, especially on Azure/Cloud, is preferred.

• Participate in refinement sessions to clarify requirements.
• Write clean, performant, scalable, testable, and reusable code, including automated tests.
• Mentor junior developers to follow best practices.
• Implement DevOps practices—CI/CD pipelines, telemetry, etc.
• Contribute to team standards and process improvements.

Skills required (essential):

• 6+ years’ experience in building distributed systems within an agile environment.
• Proficiency in core Java and Spring frameworks, including spring-boot.
• Understanding of microservice architecture, design patterns, system resiliency, scalability, security, and observability.
• Experience designing high-volume messaging and REST-based middleware, database modeling.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices.
• Familiarity with cloud development principles.
• Fast learner with a desire to continuously improve.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Angular.
