Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical design of next-generation software solutions.
• Write high-quality, maintainable full-stack code across diverse frameworks and architectures.
• Apply agile development practices using the Scrum framework.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality to ensure a positive user experience and customer success.
• Collaborate and lead within a dynamic, motivated team.
• Resolve complex issues within your area of expertise and support others in resolving issues.
• Communicate effectively with local and remote teams and share expertise to ensure product success.
• Develop technical skills through mentoring and knowledge transfer.
• Invest in continuous learning and professional development.
• Collaborate with DevOps and other technical experts to deliver cloud projects (resilience, provisioning, landscape management, build pipelines, development infrastructure).
• Be available for on-call rotation during release updates and developer-on-duty assignments.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in code design, schema design, API design, object-oriented programming, automated testing, and debugging.
• Advanced full-stack development experience using several of:
• Java, C#, Go, or C/C++
• Server-side technologies (Spring, Jetty, Java EE, Cloud Foundry)
• Unit and integration test frameworks
• GIT and GitHub
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional technical and non-technical teams
• Commitment to the full software development lifecycle across design, programming, testing, release management, cloud operations, and maintenance

Technical knowledge (assets)

• Relational and NoSQL database design, administration, and use, and OData
• Experience with BTP Cloud Foundry
• Experience managing services in distributed systems with cloud scale and automation
• Relevant industry certification is a plus

Education and Experience

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum five years of software development experience
• Good understanding of cloud concepts and cloud technologies

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this role is 102,400 - 214,300 CAD (targeted, inclusive of base salary and variable incentive).
