Accountabilities:

  • Build high-performance, accessible, and maintainable frontends using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
  • Lead feature development from concept to launch, ensuring seamless handoff, implementation, and iteration.
  • Partner with backend engineers to deliver full-stack solutions when necessary.
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to create intuitive, user-centric interfaces.
  • Introduce and maintain best practices in performance, scalability, accessibility, and system architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with urgency and precision.
  • Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.
  • 5+ years of experience as a frontend/UI engineer, with exposure to backend development.
  • Proficient in advanced React/Next.js frameworks, JavaScript/TypeScript, and scalable CSS methodologies.
  • Experienced with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Deep knowledge of accessibility principles and implementation.
  • Comfortable working in agile, fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical challenges into business value.
  • Passion for continuous learning—especially in emerging technologies such as AI.
  • Competitive base salary:
    • U.S. ranges: Zone A $150,100–$207,100; Zone B $141,550–$194,750; Zone C $132,050–$182,400
    • Canada (BC & ON): CAD 171,000–CAD 235,600
