Thomson Reuters is seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to develop the next iteration of the user interface for our Materia AI product.

About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain the React-based web application at scale.
• Implement user interfaces using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS to ensure performant, intuitive, and responsive experiences.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot complex front-end issues and provide robust solutions.
• Serve as a lead on front-end projects, guiding junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
• Work alongside AI/ML teams to integrate large language models and other AI capabilities into the front-end.
• Deliver polished, accessible, and user-centric interfaces, iterating based on feedback.

About You

• 5+ years building React-based web applications at scale.
• Expertise in React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Next.js.
• Proven experience creating highly interactive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience from ideation to release of new products or features.

Preferred Qualifications
