Job summary

Jobber is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer, Web Experimentation, to join our Web Strategy team. You will drive high-velocity A/B and multivariate testing across getjobber.com, while expanding our Jamstack stack (Next.js, Sanity, React, TS) and WordPress/Twig for legacy code.

Lead AI-assisted workflows, define standards, mentor developers, and collaborate with engineering leadership to improve site performance, SEO, and conversion.

Qualifications

• Deep front-end expertise with production apps.
• Hands-on web experimentation and CRO experience.
• Proficiency with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and performance-focused rendering.
• Experience with headless CMS (Sanity) and WordPress/Twig.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and tooling.
• Comfort mentoring teammates and setting engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Build features on a modern front-end stack (Next.js, Sanity, React, TS).
• Maintain and improve WordPress/PHP/Twig components as needed.
• Extend component libraries and design systems for faster delivery.
• Own performance, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals as top priorities.
• Lead AI-assisted development initiatives and establish standards.
• Mentor teammates and collaborate on architectural decisions.
• Drive high-velocity experimentation and CRO programs.
• Partner with CRO and data teams on test design and analysis.
