Job summary

Jobber is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer, Web Experimentation, to lead high-velocity A/B and multivariate testing across getjobber.com. You’ll work with Next.js, Sanity, React, and WordPress (PHP/Twig), expanding a reusable component library, and driving performance and accessibility improvements.

You will mentor peers, define engineering standards, and push a culture of AI-assisted development. This hybrid Canada-based role sits within the Web Strategy team, shaping how experimentation

Qualifications

• Proven web experimentation & CRO expertise.
• Experience with web experimentation platforms (Kameleoon, Optimizely, VWO, LaunchDarkly) and product analytics tools (Amplitude, GA4).
• Strong Jamstack and modern front‑end stack.
• Mastery of Next.js, React, TypeScript, and modern rendering strategies with a focus on performance and accessibility.
• Experience with a design system or shared component library.
• Versatile CMS background (Headless Sanity & WordPress/Twig).
• Hands‑on AI‑assisted development.
• Growth and experimentation mindset.
• Technical leadership without ego.
• Strong communication with designers, marketers, and CRO.

Responsibilities

• Build on a modern front-end stack across Next.js, Sanity, React, and WordPress (PHP/Twig).
• Contribute to and extend our shared component library and design system.
• Own performance and accessibility as first-class requirements.
• Work between headless Sanity and traditional CMS architectures.
• Write well-tested, scalable, code and drive engineering practices.
• Mentor and coach other front-end developers; partner with Engineering Manager on standards.
• Push AI-assisted workflow forward and refine MCP integrations.
