Job description

Our remarkable Client in Vancouver, BC is seeking experienced engineers to help develop the next generation of their established platform; a 2.0 version. You'll be part of a team-building all-new omnichannel sales, marketing, loyalty, analytics, and subscription automation services. As a Senior UI Engineer, you are responsible for all aspects of the development, integration, and deployment of the 2.0 user interface.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing new user-facing features and workflows using React.js.
• Building reusable components and libraries for use throughout the front-end application.
• Deliver across the entire software app development lifecycle-design, build, deploy, test, and release.
• Writing clean, well-designed, unit-tested, and efficient code.
• Peer-reviewing code and supporting junior team members.
• Build strong partnerships with other teams internally and externally to solve problems and ensure we deliver a cohesive customer experience.
• Proactively seeking out new technologies and best practices and supporting the team in adopting them.

Requirements:

• 4+ years building and maintaining front-end applications for large-scale SaaS platforms.
• Successful integrations with Restful API applications with synchronous and asynchronous endpoints.
• Good knowledge of and hands-on experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience working with REST and GraphQL API design approaches.
• Experience with e2e testing, CircleCI, and GitHub Pull Request workflow.
• Experience leading the development of new features and products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
