Role Overview:

We seek a highly skilled Senior Front-end Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will collaborate with product and design teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to contribute to Faire's business and engineering success.
2. Share ownership of our product, driving improvements for customer experience.
3. Help define the technical direction and roadmap of the team.
4. Identify and drive technical improvements to enhance platform performance and scalability.
5. Contribute to the technical direction of our server-driven UI framework.
6. Optimize web applications for peak performance using technologies like Next.js.
7. Mentor fellow developers and promote best practices.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Typescript, and React.
• Experience in full-stack development and web performance optimization.
• Strong collaboration skills and leadership in technical projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.

Technologies:

• Typescript, Kotlin, React, Next.js, Jest, Cypress.io.

Salary Range (Canada): $156,000 - $195,000/year, with equity and benefits. Actual pay depends on skills, experience, and location.

Workplace Flexibility:

• Effective January 2025, hybrid work with 2 days/week in-office (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Up to 4 weeks remote work per year.
