Job Title : Senior Front-End Designer

Project Overview :

Our client is leading multiple digital transformation and service innovation initiatives aimed at simplifying and modernizing how citizens interact with public services. These projects involve reimagining service delivery with a strong focus on accessibility, usability, and user-centered design.

The organization’s digital delivery team is seeking Senior Front-End Designers to join cross-functional teams that support the redesign of critical services. These teams work collaboratively across product development lifecycles, from early research and prototyping to high-fidelity design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop creative, user-centered front-end design solutions across web and mobile platforms.
• Produce design artifacts such as wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, component libraries, and style guides.
• Collaborate with researchers, developers, product owners, and other designers to ensure seamless integration of user experience across all touchpoints.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
• Create usability test plans and incorporate findings into design iterations.
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG standards) across all design deliverables.
• Apply modern design thinking and methodologies to improve public-facing digital services.
• Document and justify design decisions to align stakeholders across multiple levels.

Required Experience & Skills :

2+ years of experience as a Front-End Designer, UX / UI Designer, or related role.

Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and accessibility best practices.

Hands-on experience creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

Proficient with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or similar.

Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product teams.

Familiarity with creating and maintaining component libraries or design systems.

Strong understanding of responsive design principles and designing for multiple devices.

Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1).

Experience in public sector or large-scale digital service delivery environments is an asset.

Nice to Have :

Previous experience working with or within government or public sector digital teams.

Exposure to service design or digital transformation projects.

Familiarity with tools for usability testing and design research.
