About this team

The Outbound Logistics Strategy & Optimization team develops and executes long-term logistics strategies and optimizes the logistics network. They collaborate with Logistics Operations, internal stakeholders, and logistics vendors to deliver top-tier logistics solutions. Reporting to the Director of Outbound Logistics Strategy & Optimization, the Senior Specialist, Freight Audit & Spend, ensures that lululemon's outbound logistics spend is accurately invoiced, coded, and paid on time. The role involves working closely with external Freight Audit & Pay partners, vendors, carriers, finance, and logistics teams.

A day in the life

• Acts as the subject matter expert on carrier billing & spend for outbound logistics.
• Audits and ensures timely payment of all outbound logistics invoices.
• Collaborates with finance to ensure costs are correctly coded to the appropriate GL.
• Works with logistics analysts to ensure accurate reporting of costs.
• Identifies opportunities for cost reduction by challenging incorrect billing.
• Resolves billing issues independently with stakeholders.
• Manages relationships with the Freight Audit & Pay vendor.
• Leads onboarding of new carriers regarding freight audit & pay processes.
• Serves as the main contact for carrier billing questions.
• Provides insights into outbound logistics costs and billing.
• Supports stakeholders with expertise in carrier billing & costs.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Freight Audit & Pay; logistics experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with large data sets; experience with PowerBI, SQL, or similar tools is desirable.
• Reliable in meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong ethics and ability to build trust with stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

Compensation and Benefits

The typical salary range is $81,500 - $107,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location. Benefits include health and dental, mental health, paid time off, retirement matching, employee discounts, fitness classes, parental top-up, development programs, mentorship, and leadership series. Eligibility for some benefits depends on specific criteria. The company may modify these offerings at any time.
