Job summary

BMO Financial Group in Toronto is seeking a senior fraud risk and compliance specialist to provide strategic input and expert oversight on fraud risks, policies and governance. The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong data analytics, Power BI and Python skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid in‑office environment.

You will develop training, reports and communications for stakeholders and help shape risk management strategies to protect assets and ensure regulatory

• 7+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree.

• Provides strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor.
• Acts as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies.

• Develops and implements an enterprise fraud management and governance methodology.
• Identifies emerging issues and tends to inform decision‑making.
• Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
• Operates at a group/enterprise‑wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.
