Job summary

Lightspeed Commerce is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team in Ontario. You will build data-driven analyses, partner with senior leaders, and drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning to improve P&L performance.

You will develop complex Excel models, extract insights from large data sets, and deliver timely month-end variance and management reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in progressive financial analysis.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
• Expert knowledge in Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with financial modeling.
• Proven track record in business partner or corporate FP&A.
• Highly detail oriented and organized.
• Strong verbal and written communication with management.
• Demonstrated success in deadline-driven, multi-task environments.

Responsibilities

• Establishing solid business partnerships with leaders across the business.
• Preparing presentations for the Senior Management team.
• Preparing, improving and streamlining budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
• Performing deep analysis and scorecard against budget/forecast monthly and quarterly.
• Delivery of accurate and timely month-end variance and management reporting.
• Providing analytical support and financial guidance to help with business decisions.
