Job summary

Luxoft seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to drive security, testing, and modernization for business-critical banking apps. You will engage with development teams, implement remediation plans, and raise CI/CD quality through automated pipelines.

The role blends hands-on coding with client-facing leadership across Java, Spring, and modern tooling. You will upgrade runtimes, containerize applications, and improve observability, while coaching engineers and implementing sustainable standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering with Java/JVM and TypeScript experience.
• Strong Spring, CI/CD, and secure coding practices exposure.
• Experience upgrading runtimes, containers, and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead targeted engagements addressing security, testing, release, and resilience.
• Assess code, dependencies, CI/CD pipelines, and observability for risks.
• Write, debug, review production code and implement remediation plans.
• Modernize legacy apps and containerize with Docker/OpenShift.
