AECOM is seeking a Senior Fluvial Geomorphologist to join our Canada-wide practice, delivering stream restoration projects and hazard-mitigation improvements. The role collaborates with geomorphologists, hydraulic engineers, and ecologists to advance natural channel design and habitat restoration.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in geomorphology or river engineering, strong GIS/CAD skills, and willingness to travel to remote sites for fieldwork and data collection.
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Fluvial Geomorphologist for employment in Canada. This is a new position as part of our ongoing expansion of fluvial geomorphology expertise in environmental and engineering projects. The successful applicant will be a motivated individual excited to contribute to the growth of AECOM’s fluvial geomorphology practice area across Canada. The fluvial geomorphologist will work with AECOM’s team of geomorphologists, hydraulic engineers, and ecologists to deliver a variety of stream restoration projects, including restoring natural processes and habitat conditions, erosion control and fish passage improvements, assisting with hazard identification, and facilitating infrastructure improvements.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $75,000 to $105,000.
