Our client is one of the world’s leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services, experiencing rapid growth in Ireland.

The candidate will assist in Fire Safety Engineering design and monitoring of building and site development projects.

The role involves working on projects across sectors such as Transport, Leisure, Educational, Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, Storage, and Residential for both public and private clients.

Preference will be given to candidates qualified for Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland. Graduate Engineers and those with relevant experience will be considered, with starting salaries determined individually.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing fire safety strategies from inception to completion, on time and within budget.
• Proficient in fire safety design, legislation, and construction technology in Ireland.
• Managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent presentation and client-facing skills.
• Technical report writing.
• Preparation and review of design drawings.
• Conducting fire risk assessments and surveys.
• Undertaking site inspections as per BC(A)R 2014.
• Reviewing proposals and material submittals.
• Mentoring junior engineers and team members.
• Building a network of colleagues and clients.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate experience in a consultancy or similar environment.
• Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) (Level 8) in Fire Safety Engineering or equivalent.
• MSc in Fire Safety Engineering preferred.
• Driving license and own transport.
