About the workplace

As a Senior Financial Services Representative,youwill leverage your communication skills as you effectively manage complex situations, problem solve and provide personalized advice.Member's complex inquiries will be satisfiedin a timely manner and within established service standards. Financial Services Representativeswill grow through your transfer of knowledge and expertiseto assure member’s needs are met, thus helpingVancityredefine wealth consistent with branch objectives.You will also bring a strong knowledge ofVancity'spolicies, procedures, systemsandsoftware.

This is a Full-time, Permanent role located at Kerrisdale Community Branch (Branch 15) and reports directly to the Assistant Branch Manager.

A typical day would involve:

• Perform member transactions consistent with established standards so that a high level of quality service delivery is achieved
• Identify and assess member/prospect needs to provide appropriate products, services and referrals
• Provide ongoing technical support to the service team (new and tenured) so that member experience standards are achieved
• Apply branch service standards and support adherence to policies and procedures
• Apply and support adherence to controls to meet compliance and security requirements and mitigate risk

You have:

• A High School Diploma –At a minimum, you have graduated high school and/or equivalent
• Customer Service Experience –At least 1 year of working experience interacting with people and businesses in a professional capacity

Bonus Points:

• Post SecondaryEducation/Diploma (Related Discipline)

The salary range for this role is $32.42 to $40.21 per hour. Base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
