Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting & Consolidations, this role is crucial for maintaining data integrity, supporting payroll and financial reporting, and enhancing process efficiency through automation and internal controls. About the Opportunity

  1. Transaction Management: Record, verify, and consolidate transactions to ensure the integrity of accounting data.
  2. General Ledger Maintenance: Update ledger data, prepare trial balances, reconcile entries, and resolve discrepancies.
  3. Month-End and Year-End Closings: Complete closing activities timely and accurately to meet reporting deadlines.
  4. Process Optimization: Evaluate and improve workflow processes for accuracy and efficiency.
  5. Financial Analysis: Generate trend reports, reconcile balance sheets, and analyze financial data for accuracy.
  6. Audit Support: Assist with external audits by analyzing accounts, preparing documentation, and providing working papers.
  7. Financial Modeling: Develop models and ad hoc reports as needed.
  8. Fixed Asset Management: Track and reconcile assets, including depreciation schedules.
  9. Technical Research and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex transactions, recommending best practices.
  10. Process Automation: Identify and implement technological solutions to automate accounting processes.
  11. Project Participation: Contribute to finance system and process implementation projects.

About You

  • CPA designation
  • 5+ years in a similar accounting/finance role, with experience across multiple legal entities
  • Strong analytical skills with large datasets and complex reconciliations
  • Experience in financial consolidation, especially with subsidiaries, is a plus
  • Public accounting experience is beneficial but not required
  • Experience in SaaS or recurring revenue industries preferred
  • Knowledge of NetSuite is a strong asset

Salary Range

90,000 - 110,000 USD per year
