Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned FP&A professional to partner with Go-to-Market leaders in Toronto, driving financial insight for growth initiatives and product launches. You will translate data into actionable recommendations and build executive-ready dashboards to guide strategy.

The role requires strong modeling, BI experience (Power BI/Tableau), and the ability to influence stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in FP&A, data analytics, or business performance reporting, preferably supporting Go-to-Market functions.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other BI tools.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data warehouses.
  • Experience with FP&A systems such as Vena, Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion, or similar platforms.
  • Strong ability to influence stakeholders and communicate financial insights to non-financial audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, or other customer-facing functions.
  • Customer-focused mindset and collaborative team player.
  • Adaptability to change in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner supporting Go-to-Market growth objectives.
  • Provide business insights on lead sources, quality, and profitable sales.
  • Analyze and report CAC, marketing ROI, lead conversion, and lifetime value indicators.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to evaluate campaign performance and optimize channel spend.
  • Develop business cases and financial analyses for growth initiatives and product launches.
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities through analysis of customer behavior and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain financial forecast models for monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Conduct monthly actual/forecast vs. budget variance analysis with management commentary.
  • Track and report financial and operational drivers for Go-to-Market divisions.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to Go-to-Market leaders.
  • Build scenario analyses and sensitivity models.
  • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Design and maintain executive dashboards and scorecards.
  • Use Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI tools to automate reporting.
  • Ensure data integrity across sales, marketing, CRM, data warehouse, and finance systems.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Technology leaders.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner supporting Embark's growth objectives
  • Provide business insights on lead source and quality to increase profitable sales
  • Analyze and report on CAC, marketing ROI, lead conversion, sales productivity, payback periods, and lifetime value indicators
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales leaders to evaluate campaign performance and optimize channel spend allocation
  • Develop business cases and financial analyses for growth initiatives, product launches, and customer acquisition strategies
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities through analysis of customer behavior, acquisition trends, conversion performance, and profitability
  • Develop and maintain financial forecast models for monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and five-year outlook planning
  • Conduct monthly actual/forecast versus budget variance analysis and provide management commentary
  • Track, analyze, and report financial and operational drivers for Go-to-Market divisions
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to Go-to-Market leaders
  • Build scenario analyses and sensitivity models
