EQ Bank is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning and Reporting team. You will develop scheduled and ad hoc reports, build financial models, and partner with business units to drive management decisions.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of progressive experience, advanced Excel, and experience with SQL. This full-time role offers a discretionary bonus, strong RRSP match, comprehensive benefits, and a path to grow with Canada's Challenger Bank.

Qualifications

• Four year degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business preferred.
• CFA/CPA designation completed or in progress is a plus.
• At least 4–5 years of progressive and relevant work experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; advanced Excel with macros.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly financial models used by management.
• Produce P&L, Deposit forecasting, pricing analyses, and budget/forecasts.
• Extract and manipulate data from multiple information sources for analysis.
• Enhance modeling processes and budgeting/forecasting tools.
• Perform ad hoc reporting and consolidate financial metrics as required.
