Dentalcorp seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance Shared Services team, overseeing dentist compensation administration and AR analysis across Dentalcorp practices. You will ensure accurate payments and reliable AR monitoring, reporting, and reconciliation.

You will contribute to on-time processing, onboarding of newly acquired practices, and continuous improvement with a solutions-driven mindset, while guiding junior teammates.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• CPA designation or active enrollment is a plus.
• 4+ years of AR, finance, accounting, compensation administration, or financial analysis experience is required.

Responsabilités

• Validate and process dentist draw payments accurately and on time.
• Analyze compensation, production, collections and adjustments to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare month-end journal entries, accruals and reconciliations including AR vs balance sheet.
• Analyze AR aging, trends and anomalies; calculate quarterly AR provisions.

The OpportunityWe are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance Shared Services team, overseeing dentist compensation administration and accounts receivable analysis across Dentalcorp practices. This role ensures accurate, timely doctor payments and supports reliable AR monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting.Who You AreYou are a proactive, service-oriented finance professional with strong accounting, financial analysis, AR, and compensation administration experience. You translate complex data into clear insights, bring sound judgment and accountability to deadline-driven work, and collaborate effectively with Operations, Practice Managers, Finance, and Revenue teams to resolve issues and deliver reliable outcomes.In This Role, You WillDentist CompensationValidate and process dental draw payments accurately and on time, in accordance with approved compensation arrangements.Analyze compensation, production, collections and adjustments to resolve discrepancies and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.Accounting & AR AnalyticsPrepare month-end journal entries, accruals and reconciliations, including reconciling practice AR to the balance sheet and investigating variances.Analyze AR aging, trends and anomalies, and calculate quarterly AR provisions to support financial reporting and identify areas requiring follow-up.Practice Support & OnboardingSupport newly acquired practices with AR month-end processes, reporting requirements and onboarding.Resolve escalated practice AR inquiries and review write-off requests in accordance with established guidelines.Continuous Improvement & Team SupportSupport process improvement, automation initiatives that improve controls, data accuracy and reporting.Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to support the development of junior team members.What You’ll BringDegree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required; CPA designation or active enrollment is considered a plus4+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, finance, accounting, compensation administration, or financial analysis is requiredExperience in healthcare, dental, multi-site operations, retail, or shared services environments is preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and financial data analysis techniques is requiredExperience with ERP, financial, or practice management systems is an assetProven ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven settingStrong sense of ownership, initiative, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindsetHigh attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and qualityWhy Dentalcorp?Dentalcorp is North America’s leading and fastest-growing network of dental practices. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.You will be based at our Toronto Support Centre, located at 181 Bay Street in the heart of Toronto’s financial district.
