About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a front-line member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, providing business partner support to various lines of the business. The successful candidate will leverage their deep knowledge of the business to drive the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational results for the Teranet Group. Key responsibilities include:

• Accurate, timely, and relevant reporting of financial results.
• Variance analysis against budget and forecast to identify risks and opportunities.
• Annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting to support corporate and strategic plans.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop close working relationships with FP&A, External Financial Reporting, and Accounting teams, as well as Managers and Senior Leaders, to understand their processes and provide financial insights.
• Prepare internal consolidated monthly operations reports and analyze key cash flow drivers (actual vs. plan) for Directors and Executives.
• Assist in preparing quarterly consolidated reporting packages for the Executive Team, Board of Directors, Audit and Finance Committee, and Investors.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Adaptive for FP&A, enhancing team capabilities and streamlining reporting processes.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for various business lines, including trend analysis and strategic target assessment.
• Identify and implement methods to streamline internal reporting processes in collaboration with accounting, data analytics, and enterprise systems teams.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and support business cases for the consolidated entity.

What You Bring:

• University Degree in Business/Commerce with at least 3 years of post-grad experience in a similar role or in a Big Four accounting firm.
• Recently designated CPA, CA.
• Positive attitude, team player, results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to manipulate financial data accurately and focus on details.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to process multiple information sources for insights and recommendations.
• Curiosity and proactive drive to enhance knowledge and relationships.
• Resourceful, flexible, and capable of multi-tasking to meet deadlines.
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting is a strong asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of Workday Financials and Adaptive Insights is an asset.
