Qualifications

  • Support the annual budget process including template creation and liaison with various parties.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, this position plays a key role in the company’s forecasting, budgeting, and sales compensation processes.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Support the annual budget process, including standardization and creation of templates, liaising with various parties, and preparing PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Support quarterly reforecasting of consolidated financial statements, including cash flow forecast and preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
  • Support calculation of monthly, quarterly, and annual commission payouts and look for ways to streamline the process.
  • Report financial and operating data to various business groups and provide in-depth analysis to support data-driven business decision-making.
  • Monitor and update the chart of accounts with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support creation of ad-hoc reporting within the ERP System.
  • Work closely with the Senior Management Team to educate them on finance and accounting procedures.
  • Assist with ad-hoc analysis and special projects.
Education and Experience
  • University Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, and/or Accounting & Finance.
  • Minimum three years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preference will be given to individuals with a recognized Accounting/Finance Designation (CPA).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced experience in MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with ERP Systems and Power BI.
